Secondary School Program

VEGSC02

VEG Education will run a program for your students at Velisha Farms. Aligned to the Victorian curriculum, VCE subject or VET program, this unique excursion tailored to your students needs.

Introduction:

Farming and the fresh produce sector are not what they were 30 years ago. With global food demand forecast to increase 60% by 2060, the opportunity for young people to play a part in the world’s food bowl is very real.

There are jobs available now, and with the drive for industry growth, there will be more jobs. The future is exciting, and we want to share that excitement with the next generation.

The educational benefits of our VEG Schools program are diverse. Not only is it a fun and a hugely memorable time, but there are also constant opportunities for students to expand their own individual tacit knowledge crucial to higher level learning and problem-solving skills.

Your business is going great (or not… COVID-19); you’re doing the things you know. But you also know that there are some pinch points in your business; some areas that could be safer, some processes you need to introduce.
But you’re frozen: I don’t know what to do? I don’t know where to start? Will the business afford it? Am I putting myself or business at risk?
